The deck is finally on it's way off the back of the house. It's a funny, roundabout way to do things, but once the deck is done it means the kitchen can get started and then Phase II will be over...?
The window overlooking the deck will be replaced with French doors leading away from the kitchen. So once the doors are in the work in the back will begin. It's been a fun project to do albeit one that has taken place on some of the hottest days this summer. Fortunately some shade hits the back in the late afternoon. There will be a roof added so this space will be enjoyable anytime.
